Your Role:

As a Training Systems Officer, you will be responsible for the education, training, and development of Navy personnel to ensure that they are qualified and job-ready. You will design, develop, and manage adult education and vocational training systems and solutions across the Navy. 

If you’re already studying or ready to study a job-relevant degree at your choice of accredited university, you can join the Navy and have your fees paid for. You’ll earn a salary while you complete your degree and walk straight into a Navy role following graduation.  

Your duties include, but aren’t limited to: 

  • Developing, designing, and evaluating training solutions and workplace assessment processes
  • Training management and governance
  • Facilitating the training and development of instructors across the Navy
  • Identifying individual competency needs
  • Administrating training and assessment systems
  • Providing advice on education and training policy

Salary: 

When you first join the Navy and while studying for your degree at the university of your choice, you will be paid between $35,326 and $54,166 depending on your year of study.

Upon completion of your degree, and initial military and employment training, you’ll enjoy a salary package starting from $90,629.

For this role, you must be over 17 at the time of enlistment, an Australian Citizen, and be able to provide evidence that you are enrolled in or studying a Bachelor’s degree in either Adult Learning, Vocational Education and Training, Training and Development or Secondary Education.
