Your role:
This role is for a fixed term of three years, commencing 7 May 2020, based at Campbell Park, ACT.
As a Training Development Officer in the Navy, you will provide specialist training support to the office of the Defence Seaworthiness Regulator. This includes the planning and development of training activities and materials, as well as assessing and providing feedback on training delivered.

The Office of the Defence Seaworthiness Regulator supports the Defence maritime community in understanding and meeting compliance obligations. The Office performs vital functions, such as developing regulations, reviewing compliance strategies, conducting assurance, undertaking legislative scanning and providing education and advice to the Defence maritime community.

Salary:
Upon completion of your initial military and initial employment training, you'll enjoy a competitive starting salary package of: $89,704 including service and uniform allowances.
In addition to your salary, you will receive generous superannuation, housing subsidies and free medical and dental care.

For this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Adult Learning, Vocational Education and Training, Training and Development or Secondary Education. In addition you must have demonstrated experience in a relevant training related field commensurate to the listed core duties. You must be an Australian Citizen, and a security clearance is required for the role.
