Join our Graduate Program as a Graduate Consultant within our Digital & Technology Advisory team, starting January 2025!

Our Digital & Technology Advisory team support clients, both in the public and private sector, to implement clever, cutting-edge solutions to make things run smoother, faster and smarter. This can include upgrading their technical infrastructure, streamlining their processes, or coming up with some out-of-the-box strategies – all to transform what their businesses do.
What you’ll do:
As a Digital & Technology Advisory Graduate at BDO, you can expect to:
- Support the team with data analysis, gathering, interpreting and presenting understanding of data related to clients
- Conduct interviews, taking notes and asking questions (if comfortable) to clients
- Support the team with general Project Management, ensuring that we meet deadlines
- Support the development of deliverables for clients.

What you’ll offer:
- You will be in your final year or have recently completed a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree, preferably in Information Technology i.e. Computer Science, AI etc. Degrees in Commerce, Engineering, Science and Law will also be considered
- Your ability to commence full-time in January 2025.

I am given a fair amount of responsibility, and plenty of support to learn.
Checking emails, liaising with clients to receive information on their R&D activities, writing/drafting activities according to AusIndustry guidelines/ITAA legislation. Calculating financial incentives and meeting with clients.
Admin tasks including note taking, setting up meeting and powerpoint/word templates, writing and research tasks

Pros
The culture in and out of the office is great.
My colleagues are always willing to get out of their way to help me.
Great opportunity to learn. People are nice and not getting annoyed when I ask questions.
Never any pressure to stay late.
The training is great, I have learned a lot in my time here.
Cons
Pay is relatively low, however this is industry-wide.
The graduate program doesn't rotate us through all the service lines.
Some managers are great and give constructive feedback. Others do not provide you with proper instructions.
Dishwashers are small... toilets are not flushed... desk are most of the time dirty.
Could include more women, however this is the industry.
