About the Team

BDO's Audit practice has established itself as a major player within the local marketplace, auditing many of Australia's leading public and private sector organisations across a diverse industry base. The audit team ensure our clients are meeting statutory obligations through review and evaluation of controls and assessing the accuracy of financial information for reporting purposes. It is an auditor's role to investigate financial statements for misstatements and fraud.

What are your learning opportunities?

From day one you will be exposed to real client matters which leads to no two days being the same in audit. As part of the audit team, you will:

• Work from the office and on clients sites from day one
• Work with different team members and managers on a regular basis
• Build meaningful relationships with your clients in order to help them better understand their financial performance, business systems and culture
• Develop financial knowledge across a range of industries through auditing a mix of large and small clients, both public and private
• Receive excellent mentoring and support throughout you audition career
• Develop your knowledge, skills on and client relationship skills through dealing directly with clients

About You

You'll currently be studying a degree in Business, Commerce, Accounting or a related discipline. As you'll be engaged in doing meaningful work from day one, you'll bring:

• Well-rounded communication and interpersonal skills;
• A passion for delivering exceptional client service;
• Strong attention to detail to review financial records and critically analyse,
• Strong customer focused work experience;
• An understanding of how to work in a team environment;
• Proven academic achievement combined with an enthusiasm for continuous learning and development.
