A Career in Business Services
We are excited to offer Graduate opportunities to join BDO’s Business Services Division. In this role you will have the opportunity to undertake meaningful client work, building your experience across a broad range of accounting practices including but not limited to financial and management reporting, taxation (FBT/IAS/BAS), outsourced services and compliance activities.
You will be assigned a "buddy" to ensure you receive personalised support from day dot, plus ongoing training and mentoring to build your skills and experience within Business Services.

I am given a fair amount of responsibility, and plenty of support to learn.
Checking emails, liaising with clients to receive information on their R&D activities, writing/drafting activities according to AusIndustry guidelines/ITAA legislation. Calculating financial incentives and meeting with clients.
Admin tasks including note taking, setting up meeting and powerpoint/word templates, writing and research tasks

Pay is relatively low, however this is industry-wide.
The graduate program doesn't rotate us through all the service lines.
Some managers are great and give constructive feedback. Others do not provide you with proper instructions.
Dishwashers are small... toilets are not flushed... desk are most of the time dirty.
Could include more women, however this is the industry.
