Join our Graduate Program as a Graduate Auditor within our Audit team, from July 2024 or January 2025!

What you’ll do:
As an Audit Graduate at BDO, you can expect to:
- Join a large team of experienced audit specialists and technical experts
- Be client facing, work in the office and field, visiting client sites across various industries such as not for profit, tourism, retail, hospitality, real estate, construction, transport & logistics and government
- Use BDOs international audit methodology
- Review financial statements, prepare, and maintain working papers, identify risks and identify opportunities to improve client internal controls.

What you’ll offer:
- You will be in your final year or have recently completed an Accounting or relevant undergraduate or postgraduate CA/CPA eligible degree
- Your ability to commence full-time in July 2024 or January 2025.

I am given a fair amount of responsibility, and plenty of support to learn.
Checking emails, liaising with clients to receive information on their R&D activities, writing/drafting activities according to AusIndustry guidelines/ITAA legislation. Calculating financial incentives and meeting with clients.
Admin tasks including note taking, setting up meeting and powerpoint/word templates, writing and research tasks

Pros
The culture in and out of the office is great.
My colleagues are always willing to get out of their way to help me.
Great opportunity to learn. People are nice and not getting annoyed when I ask questions.
Never any pressure to stay late.
The training is great, I have learned a lot in my time here.
Cons
Pay is relatively low, however this is industry-wide.
The graduate program doesn't rotate us through all the service lines.
Some managers are great and give constructive feedback. Others do not provide you with proper instructions.
Dishwashers are small... toilets are not flushed... desk are most of the time dirty.
Could include more women, however this is the industry.
