The work itself is good, but as mentioned earlier as a new employee there isn't enough to keep me busy. Currently my day to dat is going over various company internal web pages and occasionally doing work as my higher ups find things for me to do.

Pros and cons of working at Boeing Australia

Pros

  • The flexibility with hours and locations is fantastic and really helps to promote a fantastic work-life balance.

  • Opportunity to work on new and exciting projects.

  • The people I work with are incredible! I've never worked for a company where I've clicked with so many people on both a professional and social level.

  • Flexible work, excellent breadth of experience both in terms of work to do and people to ask questions of.

  • Great office culture, everyone is very friendly and willing to help out with any questions or concerns.

Cons

    • Ability to 'climb the ladder' seems difficult, making salary and career progression hard.

    • So far the worst thing I have found is that since I am a new Graduate for the company the initial work load is quite small and this can sometimes make the days feel extremely long.

    • Onboarding culture is still difficult, little attempt to introduce people on start.

    • It is quite a large company, so it can be easy to feel lost.

    • How slowly things can take to change in such a large company
