CIMIC Group invests in future leaders by providing graduates with exposure to a global organisation across multiple industries. The CIMIC Group graduate program gives graduates the opportunity to learn and develop whilst working on some of the worlds' most iconic construction, mining and operations and maintenance projects.
Graduates are provided structured on-the-job training, guided learning plans and leadership mentoring. Over the two-year program, graduates will undertake three eight-month rotations with placements in various roles, projects or operating companies within the group.
Graduates enter the program working at one of the CIMIC Group Operating Companies: CPB Contractors, Leighton Asia, Thiess, Sedgman, UGL or EIC Activities. Over the course of the program rotations and industry exposure activities are also available at CIMIC and Pacific Partnerships.

What is the recruitment process? Graduates will undertake a screening process consisting of either an initial phone or video interview followed by a face to face interview either in person or via Skype. Some roles will also undertake psychometric testing.
Will all graduates get to rotate between operating companies? We will endeavour to ensure all graduates gain exposure to multiple areas of the business; this can be through rotations on large projects, or across multiple projects, business units and operating companies.
Will graduates be expected to relocate? Yes. We expect our graduates to be willing to relocate temporarily to take advantage of opportunities to progress their development and career.
What happens upon completion of the graduate program? Graduates will be fast-tracked into an appropriate operational or functional position upon successful completion of their program
