Your role

The Team

Deloitte helps organizations anticipate and adapt to changes in the regulatory environment, and build better programs and controls to address the wide variety of regulations and regulatory risks. They work with clients and regulators on effective remediation in response to compliance events.

Work you’ll do:

As a part of the Risk Advisory team, you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients to exceed client expectations.

• Manage and administer data inventory tools, providing operational reports
• Lead cross-functional initiatives for enterprise-wide data protection strategy
• Identify and manage data protection risks, driving improvements
• Hands-on experience with DLP, encryption, data classification, etc.
• Design, implement, and operate at least 2 data protection technologies
• Knowledge of IT security, privacy risks, and best practices
• Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001/27018, SOC security principles
• Experience with Cloud data protection solutions and architectures
• Expertise in data security and privacy best practices
• Proficiency with manual and automated security tools
• Implement and drive the adoption of compliance tools
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience with compliance programs like GDPR
• Implement corrective action plans for ongoing engineering efforts
• Work with highly sensitive data
• Hands-on experience with Linux and Unix
