Being QLD Government, there aren't many bonuses I hear of.
Graduate, Brisbane - 02 Sep 2024
Discounted fitness pass is a great perk, as well as the accruable time for upcoming hours/days I may need for personal use
Graduate, Brisbane - 02 Sep 2024
Best perk is probably the events we get to attend when they have free meals or food. OR at full-day trainings when we get fed for the whole day. However since it is government, we can't get many more perks.

Nothing unusual but I enjoy being able to attend conferences and have the costs covered
Graduate, Brisbane - 15 Jul 2024
Flexible start times, ATL accrual.

There are SO FEW PERKS. The lack of access to perks is one downside.
Graduate, Brisbane - 09 Jul 2024
Superannuation and access to fitness passport
Graduate, Brisbane - 09 Jul 2024
Not any I can think of, but the general government bonuses for super and fitness memberships etc are nice.
Graduate, Brisbane - 09 Jul 2024
Policy Futures invites to networking events and conferences.
Graduate, Brisbane - 09 Jul 2024
As its government there aren't many unusual perks. You get discounted gym membership and the ability to salary sacrifice super contributions.
Graduate, Brisbane - 09 Jul 2024
Being a government program perks are limited, however there are discounts on fitness memberships, private health, and the option to salary sacrifice. There may be opportunities to attend additional learning and development opportunities such as conferences and professional breakfasts which are paid by the program.

The Fitness Passport
Graduate, Brisbane - 08 Jul 2024
There are corporate health insurance and gym membership at discounted rate, which I have not been using. But it is good to know it exists.
Unusual would be limit on the use of milk (tea and coffee milk is provided, however, if you were to have breakfast, you are expected to bring your own milk. I found it unusual as my previous employers used to supply it). Another unusual or usual, depending on how people value status, I have noticed, some people started to treat me differently simply because now I am with the Government.

Travel opportunities, building access to cafes and restaurants downstairs.
Graduate, Brisbane - 08 Jul 2024
Discounted private health insurance, gym memberships and novated leasing
Graduate, Brisbane - 08 Jul 2024
Flexible work, including working from home & accruing additional hours to take off at a later date.
Graduate, Brisbane - 08 Jul 2024
The best perk is the superannuation up to 12.75% with a co-contributed 5% (which you can salary sacrifice) is very attractive, and will make a huge difference down the track as a young worker. Another nice perk is a amazing end of trip facilities at 1 William Street. Secure bike/scooter storage, lockers, and showers is a great alternative to the usual commute methods.
Graduate, Brisbane - 04 Apr 2022
No perks at all. I had no assistance relocating from South Australia for the program.
Graduate, Brisbane - 04 Apr 2022
Flexible work arrangements are the most beneficial perk
