The Opportunity
Due to an exciting new project, we have a unique position for a Graduate Development Chemist to join our team based at our Rocklea site in Queensland.
In this role, you will be reformulating high-quality products in accordance with agreed timelines to support the overall technical objectives of the project.
You will also be accountable for compliance with all Safety and Sustainability requirements and ensure products consistently meet end-user performance and quality expectations.
Initially a 6-month full-time contract, this will likely be extended to 12 months due to the nature of the project.
What you will bring and develop
You will have a tertiary qualification in Chemistry (or a closely related subject) and practical experience within a laboratory environment would be highly regarded.
A proactive self-starter, you will be able to work effectively within a fast-paced environment, but as a junior member of the team, you will also be able to take direction and display an eagerness to continue learning and developing in this role.

I enjoy my role because no two days are the same. Working in R&D I get to use my technical knowledge to solve problems and innovate new products. I am responsible for day-to-day maintenance of formulas and get to work with Manufacturing as well as Marketing to develop new products for our customers.
