Job Description

Responsibilities
- Technical Solutioning and Consultancy
- Understand client’s existing source systems and data flow
- Collate technical and functional requirements with our client’s senior stakeholders
- Design and propose end-to-end enterprise cloud-based and on-premise data analytics solutions under senior team member’s guidance
- Collaborate with partners to define and characterize technologies or process problems to develop new solutions.
- Advise customers over the best selection of vendor products for their requirements.
- Provide technical consulting to proposal efforts and solution design.
- Assist in designing and conducting Proof of Concept (PoCs) and Demos for pre-sales purposes.
- Customer-facing – be able to communicate and present to key stakeholders.
- Create and support sales activities
Delivery
- Work with the project team on deployment strategy, resource allocation and timeline.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Provide technical advice to resolve technical issues or new requests to ensure on-time delivery.
- Hands-on experience in any of these domains—Cloud Platform, Enterprise Data Warehouse, ETL, AI / ML models, Business Intelligence Reporting.
- Having data science model development experience is an advantage
Technical Skills
- Mandatory skills (minimum 3)
- Good exposure and experience in analytics software.
- Having SAS experience is an advantage
- Worked or solution using at least one of the big data platforms -- Hadoop on AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.
- Familiar with Data Management tools -- Talend, Master Data Management, Metadata, etc.
- Used one of these programming languages -- Python, R, SQL, Java, JavaScript, React.JS, etc.
- Experience in using one of the Business Intelligence tools -- Power BI, Tableau, and Qlik, and configuring the BI reporting pipeline on Cloud or on-prem.
- Having experience in Singapore Public Sector or Banking / Insurance industry is an advantage
Other Skills
It will be an advantage if you are/have
- Willing to work at customer’s premises (onsite) in Singapore
- Experience in Agile/SCRUM practices
- Detail-oriented
- Fast learner, positive, enthusiastic, confident and committed
- Team player

Make sure the systems are functioning and do basic patching and the like to make sure it continues to do so.

The fluctuation in the workload is a bit difficult to create a habit for, one moment you can be working and doing your grad training at the same time and the next you don't know when next you will get a chance to do it again.
While it's great to work in a global company, building a team culture can be more challenging.
Large number of people prefer working from home which makes it a bit more difficult for team activities.
Having to use up annual leave for the end of the year break.
Legacy codebases are very challenging.
