Pros and cons of working at Essential Energy

Pros

  • The opportunities my team provides me. They allow me to choose my path and give me endless resources and support.

  • Supportive work culture with great development opportunities.

  • Support from managers & team, getting to do rotations and network flexibility with WFH.

  • The people are very supportive and eager to help out your journey of professional development.

  • It's a very collaborative environment so you'll be able to meet a lot of people with differing areas of expertise.

Cons

    • It is a huge company and hard to get visibility of what is happening outside of your division.

    • The time it takes to get required access.

    • As everyone is so spread apart, you might not have the chance to meet everybody face to face.

    • The office space wasn't very inviting. The actual property is outdated and bland.

    • Cost of living does make it hard to comment on this, more is always better but I believe we're at least competitive with the rest of the market.
