Glencore Zinc Assets Australia has a number of opportunities opening to graduating or recently graduated university students to join our Human Resources Graduate Program. About the Role 

As a Graduate Human Resources Professional, you will be a valuable member of the dynamic team, contributing to our organisational success and providing quality service to our employees and contractors. 

Under the guidance of an experienced team, you will be exposed to a variety of roles contained within the Human Resources section of our business across sites and assist with a variety of personnel services. This provides our graduates with the opportunity to develop a wide understanding of the strategic nature of Human Resources. This can include items such as recruitment, job advertisements and candidate selection, maintenance of personnel records, responding to real-world employee enquiries and concerns, developing site-wide policies and procedures, staff training and learning and development. 

The successful applicant will have: 

• A Bachelor of Business (Human Resources) or similar tertiary program
• Have graduated from university within the last 2 years

Locations

 McArthur River, Northern Territory (FIFO from Darwin).  Situated in the remote Gulf of Carpentaria 900 km southeast of Darwin, McArthur River Mine (MRM) is a world-class zinc-lead mine with a long future ahead of it.  Flying in and Out from Darwin, you spend your onsite time in a camp with a dining room, bar, gym, movie theatre, golf driving range, volleyball courts, cricket pitch, and swimming pool.
