Glencore Zinc Assets Australia has a number of opportunities opening to graduating or recently graduated university students to join our Information Systems & Technology Graduate Program. About the role
As a Graduate Information Systems and Technology Professional, you will be exposed to various duties undertaken in-field support. Your typical day may be out in the field maintaining and repairing the onsite desktop fleet and helping users with their everyday computer-related issues, or helping develop solutions to business problems by analysing business functions for opportunities to improve processes or systems. No matter what might be, you will assist an experienced IS&T team to create the right setup technologically and make a positive difference for optimal business performance across our mine sites.

The successful applicant will have:

• A Bachelor of Computers Science, Bachelor in Information Technology, Bachelor of Information Systems or similar
• Have graduated from university within the last 2 years

• Mount Isa, North West Queensland (Residential). Mount Isa is a thriving city of 23,000 acting as a hub for regional business, transport, services and government in northwest Queensland. Our Townsville Operations mark the final link in Glencore’s fully integrated north Queensland supply chain, connecting the natural resources we produce with markets around the world. Copper Refineries Pty Ltd is one the world’s leading electrolytic copper refineries, capable of producing 300,000 tonnes per year of premium-quality ISA brand LME Grade A copper cathode using Glencore’s proprietary IsaKIDD refining process. Glencore Port Operations at the Port of Townsville is the export gateway for our north Queensland products.
