YOUR OPPORTUNITY

Our Remuneration Taxes team provides specialist tax advisory services to a diverse range of clients with particular focus on employment taxes including FBT, payroll tax, superannuation, employee share schemes, remuneration and salary sacrifice arrangements. 

You will work alongside a growing and energetic team of experts across a wide range of national clients. Your role will be varied and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Consulting on a wide variety of FBT, payroll tax, superannuation, Employee Share Scheme and PAYG matters, including cross border issues and audits
  • Providing international assignment consulting and compliance services across a range of clients and matters
  • Preparing FBT returns using specialist software
  • Designing and implementing share and option plans
  • Advising management teams on effective employment remuneration structures

You’ll be agile, responsive and most importantly you will bring the right attitude to continue learning. Your passion for understanding your clients’ businesses will see you go beyond addressing technical issues to developing actionable growth recommendations. This role will suit someone with the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • Degree qualified in Law, Accounting, Mathematics or similar
  • Undergraduate or previous complimentary experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and to work independently
  • Proactive approach to building client relationships
  • Solid written and excel skills

  • Exposure to a number of types of clients, good structure, really nice offices, good culture, other associates always ready to give you a hand.

  • 9 day working fortnights during quiet periods has been amazing. It helps incentivise me to finish my work earlier so I can get time off.

Cons

    • It seems that there is not much cross over between different service lines.

    • Sometimes you are required to work after hours.

    • Sometimes you will need to visit the client that is quite far away.

    • While the starting salary may be lower, the potential for growth and advancement is promising.

    • Lots of online training modules to complete at the beginning.
