Very friendly - lots of people hang out outside of working hours

Exceptional. Supportive, friendly, motivating and sociable.

Flat hierarchy and structure make it very easy for cooperation and teamwork amongst colleagues. Easy to reach out and do events during and after work hours.

Although the company is large, it is divided into small teams where you have great support and recognition.

Lots of social interaction, everybody is friendly and approachable, very transparent hierarchy, team leads and managers are always willing to talk, teams run with agile framework

Slack provides a good communication channel so that we can find colleagues who share the same interest, and find spare times after work to play together. For example, every friday lunch time there is a board game session at level 26 lunch room.

As mentioned before, the office culture is amazing. Friendly and approachable in hours, with minimal encroaching on out of office hours (i can't recall an instance where i've been asked to work outside of office hours). The structure of the development teams is very clear and straightfoward, and development teams are eager and willing to work together to get the job done. Other structures seem a little hazier, but i put that down to a lack of interaction with those structures in my day to day activities. Outside of the office, this culture tends to break down fairly quickly. Inter office collaboration is few and far between. Certain offices make us feel more like customers than colleagues, and the structures are often seemingly obfuscated to the point of complete incomprehension. A lot could be done to improve inter-office collaboration.

Socialising after hours doesnt happen very often, people are not very keen on this mainly because a lot of people have children they need to go home to. Otherwise the culture at work is great

Segregated, generally by nationality. Generally don't speak english when they don't have to. Might be having a conversation you could have input into but you can't because you don't understand what they're saying.

Very friendly, down to earth with quite a flat hierarchy, everyone's always willing to help. At my level, there are a lot of graduates and we often eat lunch together / play board games so it's not lonely.

People are friendly and relaxed. Quite common to see people visiting others to have a chat.

The company culture is very friendly, encouraging and conducive for productivity and team bonding. The flat structure mean that all staff support open communication and will always be happy to chat if they have time. I organise a few social activities during hours and after, especially with new grads, to engage with and get to know them and have fun! cooperation and teamwork become much easier when people know each other, and the setting and culture at iress definitely facilitates this.

Sydney office culture is amazing. Very relaxed and open environment. Structure is very flat, with necessary hierarchy, but otherwise everyone has a chance to step up and suggest ideas, deliver results and make changes. Socialising among colleagues is a big part of the culture, in what we do, and how we wind down.

People are friendly and open to hear different opinions. Grads often have some interesting activities after hours and friday afternoon is a good time to have a rest and chat with others. The structure in the company has recently changed and each team has one technical team lead and delivery lead. The new structure address more collaboration among teams and encourage employees to have multi-skills.

Very good, we have a large number of graduates and former graduates and often socialize together for lunches, dinners, etc. The company culture is very open, friendly and meritocratic, anyone regardless of rank or position is happy to collaborate on work.
