What does this question even mean? people who are qualified can get a job here. If you are not qualified you will not get a job. We do not hire someone when they walk in the door just because they are are particular race or colour.

The company has an incredible commitment to diversity, trough the fact that it legitimately doesn't care. Lgbt? nobody cares. Ethic minority? nobody cares. Male or female? nobody cares. Nobody cares who you are or where you came from. What everyone cares about is what kind of a person you are on the inside. Are you someone who will fit well with the company? are you good at your job? are you a person who is committed to the company values? you belong here. The recruitment process spans borders, whether they be state, or international, and once a part of the company, every effort is made to keep them there. This includes a very generous maternity and paternity leave system.

This made me laugh. There's two women in the whole of the ios+ dev/test team (~30 people). Though women in it is a known issue, iress doesn't seem like a strong advocate for women or lgbt. 'ethnic minorities' are pretty strongly represented in ios+

My company does not discriminate against employees on any grounds.

Employees are from different countries with different backgrounds. People all respect to women and the carer leave in my company is long which can be seen as a great benefit.

I am not a very diverse person but iress does a good job of celebrating diversity with multiple days throughout the year for different cultures holidays like diwali and chinese new year. School holiday programs are run in the office as well and a bring your kids to work day is practised every year as well as extra holidays for people who have children going back to school.

As an lgbt worker myself, this office has been great. The staff and systems are perfect, i have never felt discriminated against. I was highly disappointed when the company refused to take a stance on marriage equality though. Wishy-washiness on important social issues isn't a good look, and doesn't inspire confidence.

Really multicultural. Lots of policies behind to support diversity.

High level of diversity in terms of ethnicity and lgbt. There are fewer women than men in the engineering teams but there are quite a few women leaders in engineering teams. And also, i know a few colleagues who take maternity leaves.

What does your company do to attract applicants from less privileged backgrounds?
I think our company is open to all applicants, as far as the applicant has skills that satisfies company's requirement, he (she) is highly likely to receive an offer.

I wouldn't know, i don't have any knowledge of the internals.

They post job adverts? again, we are based on equality. If you are qualified, you can get a job here.

Pretty sure the answer is nothing, i mean anyone with a cv and cover letter can apply but nothing to seek them out as far as i know.

Being a fintech company, a lot of hire are from the groups you'd expect, due to the volume of applicants. But the company is always eager to hire people from diverse backgrounds.
