Working my first year in Jacobs, the management is actually considering everyone at the team as potential resources and provides equal opportunities (based on experience) to work in projects. My role varies largely due to the project I am/was involved with. With the primary team, my role is to assist in many electrical services design both logistically and technically. As my skill is developing, obviously there are senior level engineers working with me in projects. My second role is actually a larger role. Due to previous engagement to similar project, my current role is to manage resources and process for a particular special assessment of a project. This includes liasing with senior engineers and clients, managing contractors, reviewing reports, etc. Overall, in Jacobs, we are working project based and hence the role and day to day responsibilities might change from time to time
