The company is making a great effort to increase the diversity in the company currently

There are a lot of groups that you can join but I have been more focused on work than how the company presents itself vs actual results.

Kiwirail is making a concerted effort to recruit a more diverse workforce and the professional teams are already very diverse in terms of gender ratio, presence of POC, etc.

There are a lot of women in the team. A lot of people from around the world. Still perhaps there could be more diversity, but it is good for an engineering company.

They really promote diversity. I think the team is growing to almost 5000 and they don't want to stop. I think they are actively looking for employees with a diverse background.
