A vacancy exists in our Derrimut warehousing team for a fixed (1 month) full-time store person who would be available to work 45 hours per week. The successful applicants will be able to work within a team or autonomously have a strong work ethic and have a quality approach to all tasks they undertake. The role will involve working within our warehouse.
Skills & Experience
- Experience within the Transport / Logistics Industry is preferred, but not essential.
- Experience using a forklift, but not essential.
- A positive consistent manner.
- Is a highly motivated and enjoys working with a team.
- Ability to have quality-focused approach to all tasks whilst working within - stringent time frames.
- Attention to detail.
- A desire to progress through the Mainfreight business.

Organise collect of containers from wharf and arrange / coordinate delivery with customers, cooperate with government agencies to ensure quarantine and safety/security.
Required to print orders, send emails to customers, have phone calls to customers about potential orders that may come into the system. Work with our transport and warehouse teams to ensure that orders are delivered to customers on time and in a good condition.
