2023 Graduate Accountant (Jan 2023)

Overview of the role 

Your role as a Graduate Accountant will see you play a vital part in our accounting and reporting activities which ensure the effective operation of the business. 

The Graduate Program is comprised of multiple business rotations to provide you with a breadth of industry experience. At the conclusion of the program, we will endeavour to transition you to a full-time role. 

You will have a dedicated supervisor and mentor whilst you complete the MinRes Graduate Program. Alongside on the job learning from our expert Finance Team, you will have the opportunity to complete your Chartered Accountants Program supported by the business.

Who are we looking for? 

This role will require an effective communicator who is both strategic and hands-on and can engage effectively with individuals and teams.

To be eligible for the 2022 Mineral Resources Graduate Program, you’ll need to:

• be in your final study year of finance, commerce or a similar discipline, or have graduated from a recognised University within the past 12 months;
• be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or hold Australian permanent residency at the time of application;
• have availability to commence full-time employment in early 2023;
• be passionate about a long-term mining career with a desire to learn new skills related to your chosen career;
• be motivated to reach your personal and professional potential; and
• work as part of a successful team with well-rounded communication skills.
• be based in Western Australia or willing to relocate to WA to participate.
