Pros and cons of working at MYOB

Pros

  • Great support network including other graduates, learning buddy and mentor

  • Company culture, capacity for growth and flexible working.

  • Very flexible, great work life balance, great culture, lots of learning opportunities.

  • Company culture. Welcoming, encouraging, strong promotion of teamwork, great diversity in all areas.

  • Mentorship from senior developers in a flexible working environment.

Cons

    • Commute, but that's obviously out of everyone’s control.

    • When given so much freedom it can be hard to know which way to go. Fortunately, there are plenty of people happy to answer questions to help you find out.

    • The economy impacting internal hires and career growth.

    • When awesome people leave and join other companies.

    • The transition from acceleration -> crew rotations -> associate is very manual and not well supported. The individual graduate has to find their own way and sometimes it's a hit and miss where they end up.
