Commencing January 2026, you will learn from and work with talented and supportive engineering and development professionals, giving you opportunities to thrive as a key member of Powerlink and play a role in the industry’s future. Through mentorship, training and guidance, you’ll be equipped to excel as a professional, working as part of a dynamic and rapidly expanding team.
As a permanent employee, you’ll rotate through multiple divisions and teams in a 3-5 year structured program - designed to fully immerse you into the business, gain a breadth of experience and knowledge, and unleash your potential. We have two streams available:

Graduate Program - Currently in the role of a Project Manager delivering renewable energy connection projects. I have mainly been involved in the proposal and design stage, preparing tender documentation for construction works for new substations or substation extensions.
Good balance of learning and completing everyday work.

Participating in the Graduate program offers a dual-edged perspective. On one hand, it grants me the valuable opportunity to gain exposure across various facets of the company. However, just as I begin to establish a sense of comfort and familiarity within a specific role, the program requires me to transition to a fresh role within Powerlink.
The company is currently rapidly expanding to accommodate the energy transition which presents some difficulties such as lack of desk space.
