The process was very straight forward and streamlined. I was hired during Covid - 19 so it could have been quite painful but it was a very smooth process. I did an online assessment and had 3 interview with different people before I went into the office for a final interview.
Senior Consultant, Sydney - 27 Feb 2024
The interview process was quite easy and informal, overall a positive experience. However, onboarding could be improved as most new hires don't generally have laptops or their accounts set up for the first week.

Various video interviews, in person interviews, group assessments, written assessments

The interview process is quite relaxed and gives you a flavour of the company's culture. It include 1:1 interviews which are called "coffee catch ups". It also has an assessment centre where you work i teams to solve a case study.

Smooth interview with a Senior Consultant (Not HR), felt comfortable calling and talking to every employee early on. Senior leadership was very approachable.
Graduate, Brisbane - 20 Feb 2024
As a grad, the hiring process was really quick and supportive. There was a lot of communication from the recruitment team and expectations were set early. After receiving the offer, HR was very easy to communicate with and very responsive too

Graduate, Canberra - 20 Nov 2023
Having been through the graduate job application process for many employers while at uni, Protiviti's was not one of the standouts. There was a lack of clarity over the process in both the online/written comms and also through assessors. Further to this, having accepted an offer, there is little to no contact with Protiviti. This is something that could be improved.
Graduate, Melbourne - 30 Oct 2023
The individual interviews were great as well as the group interviews. The last interview with two directors was intimidating but overall a good experience.
Graduate, Melbourne - 30 Oct 2023

It was over 2 years ago so I cannot remember specifics, however the questions were centered around my experience and education so far. What stood out to me was being asked why I chose the subjects and education I did rather than just 'what' I studied. There were also some questions about some 'role-play'. Which I did not understand why I was asked at the time - but now that I have been working in the role I understand that these were potential scenarios faced in corporate

Don't memorise answers or answer how you think you should. The directors and interviewers are genuinely interested in you and will ask about you and follow up with your answers. It's not about 'passing' but rather if seeing you would be happy at the company and if it would be an organisational fit.

Best prepare would be to relax and say the truth. Other applicates were visibly anxious, one was entitling and the other was arrogant. I'd say be truthful, humble and kind. Don't think of it as the be all and end all. If you do then you will be anxious and automatically put yourself a step or two back in the process. Focus on what you have to contribute and what you have to learn.
Graduate, Melbourne - 30 Oct 2023
Be yourself and make sure your answers are free flowing and not completely scripted.

I was really nervous during the Assessment Centre when I did not need to be. As soon as you sit down and start the Assessment Centre everyone makes you feel very welcome and calms you down straight away. I think save yourself the stress and try to stay as relaxed as possible during the assessment centres and just give it your best shot.
