What's your role at PwC?

In my role as a Senior Analyst, I work alongside our team of directors and partners to provide comprehensive support to our clients. This includes assisting with mergers and acquisitions, offering strategic financial guidance, conducting valuations, and general corporate finance work.

My role exposes me to clients operating across various sectors, which means I'm always learning about new industries and markets. Additionally, with our extensive range of services, I have the chance to develop a broad skill set right from the start of my career.

What inspired you to pursue this career?

Having had the opportunity to take part in various impactful programmes organised by my iwi, Ngāi Tahu, I found inspiration to pursue a career in finance and asset management. My goal is to one day contribute to the growth and continuity of Ngāi Tahu's resources, ensuring that future generations can also benefit from similar experiences. This is why I'm focused on developing a robust skill set in corporate finance, which led me to join PwC. I'm grateful that the partners in my team are super supportive of this and are helping me gain the skills that I need to get there.
