About the role

Working under the guidance of the Senior Tax Information Solutions Manager, you will assist the team with developing new products, delivering innovative enhancements, and providing day-to-day software support for clients.  

What this means is you will be programming in VBA, C# and .Net, utilizing your advanced Microsoft Excel skills, resolving client queries, researching new technology and data analytics using Microsoft Power BI.  There is no pre-requisite for existing Tax knowledge.

We are open to part time work prior to graduation with this role!

Responsibilities

You will have a varied role, where you can put your skills and experiences into practice. Some of your key responsibilities will be:

• Identify opportunities to improve existing products using VBA, C# and .Net. 
• Assist with electronic product queries from staff and clients. 
• Provide product training and knowledge-sharing sessions to staff and clients. 
• Research new technology relevant to the Division’s electronic products. 
• Conduct testing of electronic products. 
• Data analytics using Microsoft Power BI.

• Strong knowledge in C#, Microsoft Excel, VBA, and Microsoft Power BI / equivalent data analytics software. 
• Keen interest to innovate and develop their IT skill set. 
• Ability to work as part of a team. 
• A self-starter with a can-do attitude. 
• Strong interpersonal skills to develop good working relationships with staff and clients. 
• Strong time management skills.
