About the role:
Analyse, evolve and manage algorithmic trading strategies. This role will place you on the front line with direct exposure to the market - you need to be able to handle high pressure, provide insight in strategy performance and drive improvements.
Experience:
- Degree in Mathematics, Finance or related subject
- Interest in financial markets
- Previous work experience in a similar role a bonus but not essential

My day to day role generally involves working on whatever task I am working on, this could involve writing C++ code, running tests, or doing some data analysis. Additionally there are some meetings sprinkled in throughout the day.
In the last week of quant rotation (month 6). I have been building backrests in python, as well implementing different features into our trading framework to alert changes to the trading environment.

Working with older and slower systems can get frustrating, with systems either breaking or... slowing down work.
It is getting a little crowded.
