A lot of admin work - booking meetings, writing minutes, making presentation packs, liaising with eas to organise higher-ups attendance. a lot of work is given to you that others in the team would rather not do - the important thing is to have a good attitude regardless of how passionate you are about it as that attitude is what people will talk about when you roll off/apply for internal roles.

Monthly reporting. automating reports learnings and implementation

Working on projects, monitoring and filling out reports. changes a lot but i enjoy the change.

Interesting and challenging.

Information security consultant (was a graduate for 1 year, analyst for 18 months, now consultant). day to day, i perform certain types of security reviews, engage with various stakeholders, write documentation, automate processes and provide education and awareness.

As a grad i was given immediate responsibility for my work and submissions to credit. means i was really able to add value from the get go.

Changes with each team i am in. typically, i have had supporting roles, where i assist other experienced people and learn from them as i complete the tasks. the workload is not too stressful, however, if i have little to do i can always ask for more.

I find my work incredibly mentally rewarding. i am always excited to learn more and get better.

Given a variety of different tasks

Liasing with customers and internal stakeholders, assisting with lending submissions and completing financial analysis for credit submissions

speaking with merchant customers, making system changes for eftpos terminals, problem solving when terminals aren't working as expected.

My day to day responsibilities alternate between larger scale strategic pieces and more tactical business as usual pieces.

Rotation based graduate program

Front-line banker. Helping customers with their banking needs such as writing loans, annual reviews, account maintenance.

It depends on the rotation. Creating reports, creating packs, supporting team members, observing meetings.

I have completed several rotations as part of the graduate program. I have had the opportunity to try out different roles and responsibilities including - change management, business analysis, business support, stakeholder engagement, facilitating and presenting training, learning and development design, customer journey and digital strategy.

Assisting in building or testing of risk models.

Developer within the Robotics and Intelligent Automation Services team. Responsible for developing automation solutions using our RPA (Robotic Process Automation) software BluePrism

2/3 rotations I have taken part in have been very challenging and rewarding roles that have allowed me to take on better ownership of tasks, deliver solutions, and engage with the rest of the business units. 1 role however was a little harder, as I spent more time observing that participating and learning through physical engagement.
