Water

Our Water team takes a holistic and sustainable approach to managing the use of water resources. We support governments, investors, developers, manufacturers, utilities, and corporations by mitigating risks, meeting regulatory requirements, reducing the cost of water use and disposal, as well as creating strategies for a sustainable future.

Our recent long term projects include City of Gold Coast and Infrastructure - delivering new and improved water, wastewater and recycled water infrastructure that benefits the regional economy, environment and community.

What you’ll do:

Your path as a Graduate Civil Engineer will be a blend of training and on the job learning which will enhance your professional, personal and relationship building skills, providing you with a wide range of development opportunities on your journey to become an emerging professional and beyond. You will:

  • Learn about the Water sector and the fundamentals of Civil engineering in passenger infrastructure, delivering excellence in designs that result in sustainable and resilient solutions
  • Support and be part of a larger team working on front end studies and design planning whilst incorporating engineering principles in accordance with the Australian Standards and Codes
  • Learn new skills such as design management and coordination, project management, client development, preparing technical documents and using different design software.
  • Attend site meetings, site inspections, liaising with clients and internal stakeholders

About you:

You will need to be analytical, curious, and passionate about continuing your learning. This role with suit someone who is able to think critically, ask questions and take responsibility in finding solutions. You will also need to be comfortable engaging with clients and collaborators, partnering with them to understand their needs. To be considered please ensure you have the following:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering
  • Can demonstrate genuine interest in the Water sector. If you have work experience or internship experience working in Water Utilities sector this will be highly favoured.
  • Have a good level of confidence using Microsoft suites, with advanced knowledge of Excel, MS Project and AutoCAD.
  • Have full working rights in Australia
