Please comment on your company's office space, location and facilities. And while we're at it, please tell us a little about the dress code.
I feel that our office space and facilities are currently pretty good. But this is primarily due to having just done a renovation last year. The main perk for me is the in-house coffee barista and the end of travel facilities.

All of the amenities are well managed and ensure ease of use. I quite like the dress code (business Casual?) , it encourages people to express themselves whilst keeping things professional.

Newly reburshished, just reopened recently.
Intern, Perth - 10 Sep 2024
The office is is a great location, with great facilities and a comfortable productive environment. The dress code is not strictly defined, but the culture is to dress well and appropriately for the profession.

The office space is great, and has adequate facilities. An outdoors area to get some fresh air would be appreciated (without having to leave the entire building complex).

Office space is fantastic. Only real issue is the number of desks, not always available when you need to book a desk last minute.
Graduate, Sydney - 09 Sep 2024
Spacious, good facilities and location. Even has breakfast bar. Dress code is semi-formal but not a must

The Sydney office is beautiful, the view over the bridge is just breathtaking and makes you really feel part of something big and wonderful - especially as a grad! Facilities are well maintained, IT support is present physically, the kitchens are great. I've spent time in the Brisbane office too, and that's my favourite. It's so green and lush, and makes you feel like you're walking into a different world. It's all designed with Aurecon's core sustainability values in mind. There are zen or mindfulness rooms in all offices that I'm aware of, and I often book them out for 30 mins a day to sit in the quiet and recalibrate. I feel very safe in these spaces. Dress code is smart-casual, but is also flexible. I'm not a fashionista by any means, I'm still learning what's what in the corpo world, learning that heels suck and I much prefer a pair of Adidas... And it fits right in! I found that the Sydney office was a bit more flash than Brisbane, and you'll also notice the engineers will wear more casual fits while ECA and perhaps some enviro people will glam it up a bit. I wear a nose piercing, have and show my tattoos, and it's not an issue as far as I'm aware. I've seen coloured hair around the place, though I'm not sure that would fly too well in ECA as we're constantly interacting with clients the community face to face. In short, super chill, depends which office you're in.

My company has an awesome office. It's architecturally interesting, has all the facilities you could need, and provides free cereal and toast.
Graduate, Brisbane - 09 Sep 2024
Aurecon office is nice - sit/stand desks, good chairs, nice monitors. Tech works well. Nice kitchen areas. Dress code is not very strict - generally just a shirt and chinos. Some people are more formal, and some more casual but I've never heard of anyone being spoken to about what they wear. Fridays are casual i.e. jeans and a t-shirt

The offices are open, sometimes there can be issues with desk availability as there is no assigned seating. The dress code is business casual most days, with Fridays being casual. No strict dress code, as long as its semi-professional.

we have a harbor view office which is really nice.

The new Perth office refurbishments have decreased capacity, but it is not difficult to find a desk on most days because no one wants to sit at the fixed height desks (the old desks were better, these ones are not deep enough). This results in the office feeling dead most of the time. The office is a ~10 min walk from the nearest train station (a bit closer would be nice) but is surrounded with many eateries. I am a fan of the new breakfast bar but would not like to see the regular coffee machines replaced by Nepresso machines since the Nepresso ones do not have hot chocolate. I have not used other facilities within the building. There is casual Friday but even on other days, it is not super formal.

The office space is amazing and has all the necessities employees would need

The office spaces are great. I work remotely the majority of the time but when I do visit the office it is always an enjoyable experience with equipment always functioning, snacks provided and a barista on Fridays. The office is in a great location with an amazing view over Sydney harbour. it is always clean and tidy and a pleasure to visit
