There is a decent culture at CSC. Any time that there have been issues, I have had full support of my manager and the HR team. There are sometimes after work get togethers which are fun.

Office has a very fun, social atmosphere. Lots of opportunities to socialise outside of work
Graduate, Canberra - 23 Nov 2022
I would say the culture is overall very positive. While I have had the displeasure of hearing some consistently negative impressions of the people and/or culture, what I have seen around the office and after hours (including from these individuals) has been overwhelmingly positive. Most teams are comprised of wonderfully supportive and dedicated people. Most people I have spoken to are content with the opportunities for career progression and are fond of their team. It can be a bit frostier between different teams - although this appears to be from individual relationships (such as the negative people I mentioned previously having bad impressions of members of other teams based on personal interactions.) Although this is restricted to a small number of employees, it has been disappointing that these people have been able to position themselves as mentors and approach the graduates, to share (what I believe to be unfair) impressions of senior staff members. Many of the colleagues have quite strong social relationships which makes day-to-day work more enjoyable. The business is very generous with learning, team-building and cultural events and supports a healthy work-life balance which I can see reflected in the culture of its employees.

There are team leaders, managers, senior managers and executive. However, it only feels like the exec are hierarchy. Great people to work with and outside of work events are common.

Overall good culture, everyone is friendly. But again, when it comes to money stuff a lot could be better. Generally unclear what I should be expected to earn after completion of grad role, and the upper management does nothing to make thing clearer.

older culture slow to move

Very warm atmosphere among colleagues

Matrix organisation, so you will be able to interact with employees at differing levels. This allows for excellent exposure for staff. Not much socializing outside of work hours. Not that great for young staff
Graduate, Sydney - 28 Sep 2016
The culture is good - people are very open and helpful which creates a very nice environment. The managers are always open and supportive, regardless of their position. The culture outside of office hours is also great with lots of events - Friday night drinks, Social Club events, Footy Day morning tea etc.
Graduate, Melbourne - 28 Sep 2016
A more mature culture due to the majority of colleagues being over 40, however there are heaps of social activities you can be involved in.
Graduate, Melbourne - 28 Sep 2016
The structure is quite horizontal, there is no feeling that anyone is better than anyone else. There is a lot of cooperation and teamwork, and the workplace is generally very friendly and open. The out of work social aspect is not as strong, there is not a massive social scene, but this is being worked on, and the social scene that exists is very open and welcoming.
Graduate, Melbourne - 28 Sep 2016
During office hours, it's very process driven and there exist opportunities to learn.
Graduate, Melbourne - 28 Sep 2016
Culture is evolving as we acquire companies. It is a great place to work, especially for grads as everyone is super friendly and helpful. Fridays could be a little more social though...
Graduate, Sydney - 28 Sep 2016
I enjoy working for CSC because of its great culture, CSC offers a number of activities that help enabling friendly and supportive working environment, which include social club, Friday night drinks, RLC lunch and other social events.
Graduate, Melbourne - 28 Sep 2016
Company's got an amazing culture and people are so friendly and social. The Friday night drinks is a weekly routine where people get along with a pint of beer.
Graduate, Melbourne - 28 Sep 2016
Clear organisation structure, coworkers are approachable and willing to help, have weekly networking drinking session every Friday
Graduate, Melbourne - 20 Dec 2015
Culture at CSC is like a milk stool with five legs; We are committed to deliver exceptional service and value to our customers, to create an environment for straight-talk and positive change built on collaboration and trust, to strive for excellence in all we do for clients and ourselves, to try individually and collectively to be more tomorrow than we are today and be responsible for our commitments and be accountable for results or lack of it. And with that our milk stool is complete.
Graduate, Perth - 18 Dec 2015
The culture at CSC is definitely one of their strengths. The people at CSC were some of the friendliest, knowledgeable and experienced individuals that I have worked with. Even though I had more than one supervisor, at no point did I feel intimidated by any one of them. In fact, my supervisors guided me through all of the work that I did and they spent time explaining the reasons behind the procedures that were present at CSC. Having an open door policy at CSC makes it easy to communicate with anyone, no matter how senior they are. There were also many events that were running throughout the time that I had worked there. During my time, there had been a Christmas party, a charity event and other smaller events. After hours, the graduates would often meet up for dinner, after work drinks and general social gatherings. Overall, it was a pleasure to be part of the CSC team.
Intern, Melbourne - 17 Dec 2015
CSC promotes a very hard working culture. Executives are very encouraging and supportive of Graduates and promote a culture where we are free to express our ideas and really contribute to the business. Socialising amoung colleagues could be stronger with the introduction of a socila club to organise team building events.
