What your typical week will look like:

External Audit Graduates & Trainees

  • At Findex, you’ll be part of a professional and successful team delivering high-quality audit services to a diverse range of clients.
  • From day one, you’ll be hands-on, working alongside Senior Managers, Partners and experienced professionals, gaining invaluable practical experience.
  • You will assist with all phases of the external audit engagement from planning and fieldwork to completion, develop essential audit skills, understand audit methodologies, prepare financial statements, and build a strong working knowledge of audit tools and processes.

Various tax returns, assisting with research and advices

My day-to-day responsibilities are, helping managers/partners with various tax research, preparation of bass, tax returns, etc. i'd like to have more work. as of now, i haven't utilised my full capacity.

I enjoy doing creating projects on aps with attached relevant files including entering figures for the client's individual tax returns and/or their financials statements on xpa for trusts/partnerships/companies. i also do a couple ato calls a week in behalf of the clients.

Pros and cons of working at Findex

Pros

  • I know the members of my team genuinely want me to succeed. Flexibility around remote working is also a big plus.

  • The working environment in the office, my team colleagues - they are very helpful, inclusive and compassionate and I love how flexible and considerate Findex is with my medical conditions.

  • The learning and challenging environment. This is crucial to improve and grow with the company.

  • Learn lots of things that won't be learnt in textbook at uni. Good manager good mentor - mentee relationship. Work-Life balance as I am working from Mondays to Fridays only.

  • Support from my Manager is fantastic. His knowledge and ability to communicate complex issues in a way that anyone can understand is a skill set that not many people have.

Cons

    • Due to the size of the company, internal marketing campaigns sometimes feel disingenuous.

    • Long periods of workload

    • I do not have any worst ideas.

    • Nothing to point out so far.

    • Nothing bad I can think of
