Culture at SA Power Networks

Overall the culture at my company feels quite healthy and positive. Work/life balance and low stress levels seem to be common across the company, Safety in the workplace is a high priority across the company, and colleagues are on average quite friendly and sociable. One negative point may be the degree of hierarchy and levels of seniority that exists in the company, which seems unnecessarily large at times, and sometimes hinders teamwork.

Great fun atmosphere. People get along really well. Lots of collaboration on projects. Not much socialising outside of work hours but I'm ok with that

Senior workers are more than happy to share their wisdom with younger workers. The graduate program fosters a strong friendship between the graduate engineers

Positive and welcoming

New ideas are encouraged by peers and management alike, some areas more collaborative than others. After-work socialising is limited

Very flexible and friendly environment. Everyone is more than happy to assist whether they are peers, employees in different areas or senior management.

There is a lot of respect for everyone's knowledge and perspectives here. The senior staff have been around a long time and are always happy to share their stories with younger colleagues or help us out with making a decision. They are also keen to hear our perspectives and thoughts coming into the organisation as new graduates. The third-year and former graduates are supportive of the new graduates and helped us to settle in.

Without a doubt, this company has a very positive working culture both in the office and after hours. The employees are extremely friendly and all work together as one team.
