Current responsibilities include working on financial + risk modelling. The motivation behind the project is interesting and engaging, however I'm finding myself getting lost in the midst of the project after ~4 weeks working on it, mainly due to our resources being under equipped for what we're trying to do.

I will do ad-hoc protection reviews for requests from the field. When there are changes to the network I will conduct reviews to ensure we have adequate protection.

I am currently working in the Advanced Distribution Management System team that the company uses to monitor the power network safely and reliably. My responsibilities include tuning the Network Operation Model (NOM Tuning), monthly FLISR reporting and Enhanced Voltage Management (EVM) updates, amongst other tasks.

I work across two different teams. As a distribution planner I prepare plans for transferring load away from equipment for maintenance etc., assist with load forecasting, prepare specifications for substation upgrades and identify when the network needs to be augmented to accommodate customer loads. Mid-way through my current 6-month graduate rotation I was also given the opportunity to work in the generation planning team assessing embedded generation enquiries.

My current rotation on the Graduate Program is in the SCADA Engineering Team. My day-to-day responsibilities in this role include working on several projects to install, configure and test SCADA equipment.
