My current manager seems to be a bit slack in addressing some of my admin-related needs, seeming to be always too busy to worry about me as a graduate. However, I know many other managers in the company are much more attentive and supportive. The company also has a paired mentoring program which seems beneficial thus far. Performance feedback is done through a fairly structured and regimented annual program.

The managers always have an open door for questions and give good feedback. One negative is that if there's something big going on this can take up a lot of time out of the office, so management can sometimes feel inaccessible through not being physically there.
