Financial services are the economic services provided by the finance industry, which encompasses a broad range of businesses that manage money, including credit unions, banks, credit-card companies, insurance companies, accountancy companies, consumer-finance companies, stock brokerages, investment funds, individual managers and some government-sponsored enterprises.

Arts and Recreation Services is a small but diverse industry that includes museums, zoos, parks, botanical gardens, creative and performing arts, professional and recreational sports, amusement centres and casinos.

The public administration and safety industry includes bodies mainly engaged in central, state or local government legislative, executive and judicial activities such as: setting policy; overseeing government programs; collecting revenue to fund government programs; creating laws and; distributing public funds.

This is a large industry, with over one million workers. It covers a range of activities, like legal and accounting services, veterinary services and computer system design. Many of these services support other industries. The workforce is highly skilled and most jobs are full-time and are located in capital cities.
