I am moving into a GP Sales Representative role next year. I have seen how within that role I can grow and become more senior, and I am also aware of the roles that would be considered progression opportunities from there. I am aware that there are also opportunities to try different roles on the same job level. Moving roles seems supported and encouraged by managers in line with development which is exciting. To move up the ranks you need to show interest in the role, demonstrate or learn the appropriate skills, and work on feedback points as directed by line managers or others who know the position.

I have seen our commitment to give back to the community through orange united week (which I was a part of organising) which connects to our work with save the children. I have seen our reconciliation action plan, and attended varies education sessions on different topics under the diversity and inclusion heading. I have also seen the occasional workplace post of activity in other countries acting on these initiatives. That is why I feel GSK is committed to CSR.

The culture is the best it possibly could be for a first marketing job, from international colleagues to our Country Manager, everyone is approachable and friendly enough to ask for help or pull aside for a chat. Having business/sales meetings where you collaborate in person also builds relationships so seeing everyone including Global colleagues has been great.

I believe GSK is making great steps to be inclusive and diverse. I am aware that there has recently been policy change regarding parental leave. I am also aware that we run many awareness sessions regarding important diversity topics such as gender, aboriginal communities, disability etc. There is still room for growth of course, but GSK is definitely a diverse workplace and continuing to grow in this space.

I work across 3 brands in the respiratory portfolio and support the medical affairs team in material development, planning of non-promotional meetings and support the MSL and scientific advisor teams. I use CERPS, Content Lab, and Veeva.

I am very satisfied with both my line manager and other managers I interact with. They are accessible and approachable, and they have mentored me in different ways. I feel very well recognised for my work and feel I have been challenged appropriately as well.

Office space is great. We have access to parking, kitchen, office and stationery. Facilities are reliable. Dress code is dress for your day which I find comfortable and achievable.

For an internship I feel my pay is appropriate. Next year I am taking on a different role at GSK and feel very satisfied regarding my pay and bonus scheme for that role.

There could have been more formal training at the beginning of my IBL year however throughout the year I have had more than enough formal training and informal training to develop my skills relevant to my role and broaden my skills outside my role too.

Very flexible when required. I know what I am entitled to and my manager trusts that whether I am working in or out of the office that my quality of work will not suffer. I try to maintain normal working hours of 8:30/9 - 5 but when I have an early or late meeting I know that I can change my day to suit that.

I believe we make efforts to recycle appropriately, print only when needed. But there is less emphasis on environment than other areas of action.
